Jim Atkins selected to serve as
an Instructor Jim Atkins, MBA, CPA/ABV, CFE, CVA, Managing Principal of Economic Forensics, LLC Longwood, FL has been selected to serve as an Instructor for the Forensic Institute for Financial Experts of the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts. Mr. Atkins recently taught “Effective Report Writing in Litigation” in Boston, and “Advanced Commercial Damages” in Chicago for the Institute. Mr. Atkins directs litigation consulting in the areas of damages arising from commercial and intellectual property interruptions/infringements, bankruptcy, employment matters, personal injury, and wrongful death; business valuations for oppressed and minority shareholder actions, fraudulent inducement, ESOP’s, and marital matters; forensic investigations in matters of “white collar crime” and contract fraud; and management consulting in the areas of business fraud deterrence and detection, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
